Eyes of Artists

Unseen WWI era Photographs

Posted in articles, photographers by Corey Presha on May 26, 2009

– I came across this interesting article on The Independent’s site about a huge collection of photographs from the First World War that was discovered recently in France. It’s quite an impressive archive and a lot of the portraits possess and August Sander like quality. The photographer is unknown but the collection is a great historical document. See the full archive here.
